about

Conceptually/Musically -
The sequel to "Good Morning, Duy Khang".
A song sung by Duy Khang, the Foliage & Reciter.

lyrics

i've got plants growing on my shoulders
Because you, you, you
Used me as your tissue
For the past few months,
do you remember when you used to use me as your tissue?

Oh, i've got plants growing on my shoulders
Because you, you, you...oh, oh, oh...
Used to use me as a tissue for your tears
Oh, i remember when you used to use me for your tears...

Now every time your tears hit the soil
Evaporation carefully brings it back up
Towards the sky you never bothered to look at...
And eventually pour on the guy you never appreciated!

We'll trace back our roots so deep in the dirt
And find pieces of the seed that we planted so long ago
It's now lost in the dirt, lost in the hole
And now i'm...gone.

Reciter: [Now the sun, it still shines]

i've got plants growing on my shoulders
i've embraced this existence as: 'The Foliage'
Let's hope our decayed romance will stand the test of time
To benefit the shrewd man that shares this curse of mine

[Reciter & Foliage converse:]
"Hey Foliage..."
"Reciter?"
"i know of you..."
"From legends, i presume?"
"The trees, they lament."
"They know my pain."
"They've sung of you."
"My steps end here..."
"To the outskirts of Tell!"
"Please make haste!"
"I'm on my way."
"I wish you well."
"Spread your roots."
"Go clear your name!"
"For my Race?"
"The Neon Race."

If trees could sing melodies
They'd sing of pain, they'd sing of me (him)
They'd sing of pain, they'd sing of me (him)
